The new cordless angle grinder from DEWALT is equipped with a brushless motor, eliminating the need for brush changes and extending the motor's lifespan. This grinder offers superior protection features, including a brake that can stop the wheel in 2 seconds or less.
The Kickback Brake is designed to engage maximum force in the event of a pinch, stall, or bind-up, reducing kickback and ensuring safety. In these situations, the grinder will automatically shut off to further protect the user. Please note that the battery and charger are sold separately.
DEWALT's angle grinder also features E-Switch Protection, which includes a no-volt release function on the ON/OFF trigger switch. In case of a power outage or unexpected shutdown, the trigger switch will need to be cycled (turned off and then on) to restart the tool.
Additionally, the grinder is equipped with a two-stage trigger that requires two actions to activate the tool. This extra safety feature is designed to prevent accidental activation and ensure the user's safety.
